Westcott Release for Their New Backdrops

Working for Andrew Kornylak definitely has its perks. Andrew is one of Westcotts’ endorsed photographers and has the privilege of using and testing some of their new stuff. Which, in turns means… New toys for me to play with. Photo Basics by Westcott recently released a New Backdrop that is wrinkle resistant in both Rich Black and High-Key White. If you look at my portfolio, its easy to tell that I’m a big fan of seamless. The backdrops will be available in a matte 9′ x 10′ and 9′ x 20′ size which is great for the every day studio work. I will say that these things are so much easier to use than paper seamless. If you use rool paper a lot this might be something you want to pick up for the quick location jobs. The heavy-duty fabric is constructed using a matte finish that is ideal when creating high-key or low-key images. I tested it out myself at an event for one of my classes and came up with some pretty cool looking stuff. If your looking for the quick and easy, The new backdrops are a must. Cheers to Westcott!
